Øyvind Rauset was educated at The National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, The National Academy of Fine Arts and Østlandets musikkonservatorium (now part of Norwegian Academy of Music). He is known for a wide production within visual communication. Rauset has made covers for books and CDs, made the layout for books and magazines, created logos and royal monograms, worked with photo, web design and more. He also works as a visual artist. In addition, Øyvind Rauset plays several instruments and composes music. He played the violin in the Norwegian folk-rock group Folque from 1977 to 1984 and has written several intros for TV.
