Kathrine Nedrejord
Kathrine Nedrejord (born 1987) is a Norwegian writer and playwright.
Nedrejord was nominated for The Norwegian Ibsen Award 2016 for her text Brent jord* (Scorched Earth).
In 2018, Nedrejord was hired as a playwright in residence at The National Theatre for a period of two years.
*Not yet translated into the English. The title within parentheses is the Norwegian title's literal meaning.

"The critically acclaimed writer Kathrine Nedrejord is hired as the new playwright in residence at The National Theatre for the duration of the next two years.
Kathrine Nedrejord is born in 1987 in Kjøllefjord. She is currently living and studying in Paris. She has published the books Transit (2010, the publishing house is Forlaget Oktober), Crowding (2014, Forlaget Oktober) and Who Am I When You're Gone?(2016, published by Aschehoug).
Nedrejord becomes part of the theatre staff, and she is provided with an office of her own at the theatre for the next two years. In addition, the play she writes during her residency will be performed in one of the theatre's venues.
Kathrine Nedrejord is the third playwright in residence during The National Theatre's history. The former two areArne Lygre (2014–2016) and Johan Harstad (2009–2011)."
