Ann Liv Young studied at LABAN in London and graduated from the Hollins University’s dance study in 2003. Among other places, she has performed at PS1 Contemporary Art Center and The American Dance Festival, she takes part in Michael Blackwood’s documentary New York Dance: States of Performance (2010) and tours USA and Europe a lot. Ann Liv Young switches between productions, all of them creative adaptations of well-known stories such as Snow White, the story about George and Martha Washington (The Bagwell in Me) and Cinderella. Aside pop artistic elements several of the performances contains sexual acts and more or less improvised and provocative outbursts directed towards the company and the audience.
