Johanne Marie Hansen-Krone
Johanne Marie Hansen-Krone (born 1952 in Nordreisa) is a Norwegian artist. She was educated at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art and Valand School of Fine Art in Gothenburg (University of Gothenburg).
Johanne Marie Hansen-Krone is known for her simplistic, almost child-like style using fair, happy colours. Some regard this to be a protest against emphasising technical perfection. Her motifs often consists of more or less spontaneously portrayed people, surrounded by few and simple props, often repeated and probably with a symbolic meaning.
