Shlomi Ruimi

The danser Shlomi Ruimi (born 1978) is originally from Beer Sheva in Israel. In 2003 and the spring of 2004 Shlomi Ruimi danced at Berlin Ballet Komische Oper, where he took part in productions by Ingun Bjørnsgaard among others. Formerly he has danced for Kibutz Contemporary Dance Company, Ido Tadmor Dance Company and Bat Dor Dance Company.

Shlomi Ruimi started in Carte Blanche the autumn of 2004 and was noticed in Sharon Eyal's Love. He has also danced in every other Carte Blanche production since.

Shlomi Ruimi teaches jazz ballet at Bergen Dansesenter (a dancing school for children, youth and adults as well as a resource and competence centre for dance), and he works as a makeup artist on the side.
