Jacob Wren
Jacob Wren is a writer and maker of eccentric performances. Having been the principal artist in Montreal theatre company PME since1998, Jacob Wren moved from Toronto to Montreal to become PME’s co-artistic director in 2002. Within PME, he has created En français comme en anglais, it's easy to criticize (1998) and Unrehearsed Beauty / Le génie des autres (2002). These theatrical productions defy convention and have toured in diverse theatres and festivals in Quebec, Canada, Europe and Asia long after their creation.
Jacob Wren has also visited Norway with several solo-performances and the performance An Anthology of Optimism made in collaboration with the Belgium writer and theatre maker Pieter De Buysser from the group CAMPO.
