Esther Gerritsen
Esther Gerritsen (born 1972) is a Dutch writer and playwright.
According to Oslo International Theatre, staging her play Headcase as a staged reading in 2011, Gerritsen is one of the leading Dutch playwrights.
She has also written novel and short stories with titles including TussenEenPersoon (Between One Person) and Normale dagen (Ordinary Days).
Gerritsenhas received several awards as a writer and playwright, including the Dif/BGN award and the grant of Charlotte Köhler.
Headcase won the Dutch-German youth theatre award in 2008.
