Adil Khan
Also known as: Adil Thathaal / AdilAdil Khan, also known under his first name Adil only, and as Adil Thathaal, is a Norwegian dancer and actor, born February 3 1983 in Oslo.
Adil Khan won the TV competition Dansefeber (the Norwegian version of So You Think You Can Dance, Sceneweb's comment), broadcast by TVNorge in March 2006, at the time with the last name Thathaal.

Adil Khan was born Adil Thathaal in Oslo, growing up in Munkelia, Grønland and Ullevål. His father is from the Punjab province in Pakistan, while his mother is Pashtun from Afghanistan. Adil is the younger brother of the singer, composer and filmmaker Deepika Thathaal (also known as Deeyah).
In 1999 he started the dance company Floor Knights with friends. For a while he lived in Copenhagen, where he was a member of the breakdance group Natural Effects. Khan won a number of competitions, including B-boy Rumble 1999 (Norwegian championship), Scandinavian Battle of the Year 2001 (Scandinavian championship) and Time to Battle in Malmö (Scandinavian championship).
In 2006 he won the competition Dansefeber at TV Norge (the Norwegian version of So You Think You Can Dance, Sceneweb's comment), and this became the start of his career. The autumn of 2006 he went to Los Angeles, where he trained with Quest Crew, winners of the third season of America's Best Dance Crew.
Adil Kahn's acting debut took place in 2006 at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre) as Bernardo in West Side Story. In 2007, after his stay in USA, he got a role in The Nutcracker, also at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre). Among his other roles is the dream character Amo in @lice at The Norwegian Touring Theatre.
He won critical acclaim with the role of Mowgli in The Jungle Book at The Norwegian Theatre, and was nominated for The Hedda Award 2009 in the category of best leading actor for the role. At the time he was the youngest nominee ever.
