ARIA VARIATA 005

Ariata Variata 005 (1996) by Christian Wolther. The performance is a free improvisation, on a certain theme or basis, like a stream-of-consciousness event based on a defined topic or aspect. The same theme has been a part of other performances and texts by Christian Wolther, as well. The theme or topic is centered around how things come into being, and then vanishes or disappears. The impermanence of phenomenons and of the actual experience of "the Self or existence or of our conceptions as a whole". This performance was produced with a minimum of rehearsing, nearly none at all, in order to make it a "free fall" experience, or "fresh" as an improvised thing without a script.
