Theater der Welt
Theater der Welt (Theatre of the World) er en tysk samtidskunstfestival med internasjonalt fokus. Theater der Welt ble etablert av International Theatre Institute i 1981 som en biennale. I 1993 ble festivalen gjort om til en triennale. Festivalen arrangeres i ulike byer fra gang til gang, i ulike regioner av Tyskland og med ulike kunstneriske ledere.
Hver utgave av Theater der Welt-festivalen er som et øyeblikksbilde. Hver gang blir festivalen omformet av sine kunstneriske ledere, de inviterte kunstnerne og regionen den besøker.
Festivalen i 2014 arrangeres i Mannheim. Kunstnerisk leder for 2014-utgaven er Matthias Lilienthal.
