På hjemmesiden til Circus Kathmandu står det følgende om Swagatam:

"Swagatam is an extraordinary piece of contemporary circus mixing breath-taking acts with highly creative and effortlessly fluid ensemble work. Beautiful, colourful and sometimes comical aspects of Nepal are abstractly captured through a rich and diverse physical landscape, and a unique bed of sound inspired by traditional Nepali music and sounds captured from the real life happenings of Kathmandu.

There are two versions available of all shows: one incorporates aerial skills (harness, hoop, silks), the other is floor based, requiring no rigging."

Swagatam av Circus Kathmandu ble støttet av Utenriksdepartementet (støtte til kulturutveksling med land i sør-Scenekunst).
