In/Between wishes to display art outside of its ordinary frames and surroundings, in new spaces and with new actions. The company wants art to be interdisciplinary, bordering different genres and styles.
In/Between writes: "We want to examine the relationship between spectator-artist-work through facilitating site-specific happenings integrating the audience. The event is intended to be a sanctuary, a place for active participation and interaction. Both within the international theatre community and within contemporary art site-specific projects are increasingly common, temporary projects seeking to integrate the art works in the physical and social structures of a particular place. The site-specific art project is in its fundamental idea including."
In/Between exhibited art during Stamsund International Theatre Festival from 2003 to 2007.
