Dance moves - into the social and political context

Seminar Oktoberdans 2004

Dance moves - into the social and political context was a seminar during Oktoberdans 2004, at BIT Teatergarasjen. The seminar aimed to examine the tendencies of today’s dance production. How does contemporary dance reflect social and political currents? What is the force and potential of dance and how does it matter outside of its own field? A series of experienced performers and theorists were invited to reflect over these questions.
