Røyk over Isdalen* (Smoke over Isdalen)

Røyk over Isdalen* (Smoke over Isdalen) (2020) was a theatre production by The National Stage, the world premiere of a play by Aslak Moe, based on the Isdalen case. The production was performed in the theatre's venue Teaterkjelleren.

Aslak Moe directed it.

An unidentified woman was found dead in Isdalen, Bergen, in November 1970. Fifty years later, she is still not identified, and the questions of what happened are plentiful.

The planned premiere in May 2002 was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and the prodution opened in October 2020 instead. Several of the performances of Røyk over Isdalen were cancelled due to local measures against the Coronavirus in November 2020.
