The Astronomer’s Twin is a production made by Wolf Sign Theatre and Nordland Visual Theatre.

The Astronomer’s Twin is about love lost and astronomy. The character Jacob isolates in his room to delve into loneliness and astronomy. A mysteriously feminine ghost haunts him and awakens the werewolf within him.

In The Astronomer’s Twin Wolf Sign Theatre uses full-size puppets in interaction with the actors, astronomy videos and horror movie visions. The spectators learn about universe from the well-known real-life Norwegian astronomer Knut Jørgen Røed Ødegaard, who has one of the voices in the play.

The astronomer Jacob has locked himself into his bedroom to get away. He puts his bad memories under the bed to forget them. But his memories have the bed shake and make strange, knocking sounds so that Jacob is unable to sleep.
