More

At the website of The National Stage the following, among other things, is written about The Guitarists:

"How would you like to be remembered when you die?

A defect toaster kills the singer-songwriter John Hansen. The funeral forces several of his guitarist friends to get together. Despite of tensions, they want to honour their late friend by arranging a memorial concert in his driveway. Equipped with their guitars and their voices, they perform his greatest hits.

(...)

The Guitarists is about death, but also about life. In between quarrelling, noise and the confrontations, thought-provoking questions are posed. What is the meaning of it all? What makes life worth living?"
