At the website of The National Stage the following, among other things, is written about Hotel Norge:

"A man has entered reception. He is alone, feeling uncomfortable... Suddenly, the receptionist is there. The man introduces himself as a policeman, asking to check in at room 405. The receptionist wonders - isn't the old case of room 405 closed?

The plot of the newly written production by Yngve Sundvor is fictional, but recognisable. We move through 100 years of the hotel's history, pausing at some of the milestones."
