"Dissociative identity disorder has gone from being a diagnosis to a popular sport, and the ability to juggle different personalities has, to many, become a condition for a successful life. It is no longer enough to be who one is, one should be many. As polyps, we split into different identities, in the hope of more and stronger experiences as others than those we are. What is true or not, is of lesser and lesser importance. Besides, psychosocial tourism is cheap and environmentally friendly, as long as one is able to keep the control of calendar days and meeting places."
