En frydefull fjelldag i Folldal Gruver* (A delightful mountain day in the mines of Folldal Valley) by FRYD Scenekunst is a day filled with experiences: Two performing arts performances, one installation, plus a wander inside a Norwegian mountain.

The target group was children aged 10-13.

Through physical and sensuous experiences, humour, music and scenic effects, FRYD Scenekunst explores the Norwegian mountain and a bit more. Geology and superstition is examined in a search for what one can prove with certainty.

The contributors to En frydefull fjelldag i Folldal Gruver by FRYD Scenekunst were Peter Brandt Kippersund (actor), Atle Lien Jenssen (folk musician), Ann-Elin Lium (storyteller and producer) and Camilla Brandt Kippersund, (actress and producer). The scenic part of the experience was directed by Mette Renolen and Jonas Kippersund.

Installations were made by visual artist Tina Mareen Buddeberg, and stage design and technique is done by a collective ensemble, assisted by the mining company Folldal Gruver.

Thanks to support from The Cultural Rucksack 945 pupils from the counties of Hedmark and Oppland have been able to experience En frydefull fjelldag i Folldal Gruver by FRYD Scenekunst.
