Og det at æ frys her ute kan ingen novelle forandre* (And that I am freezing out here, no short story will change)

Og det at æ frys her ute kan ingen novelle forandre* (And that I am freezing out here, no short story will change) (1974) was a theatre production by The Arctic Theatre, a world premiere aimed towards youth. The text was written by Henning Mankell in collaboration with the performers. Knut Heljar Hagen composed the music.

Henning Mankell directed it.

Og det at æ frys her ute kan ingen novelle forandre was later performed by The National Theatre and Teatret Vårt (Our Theatre), both of which used the title ...kommer på tirsdag* (...arrives on Tuesday). Tuesday was the day the weekly magazines were published, and the play is about the contrast between young lives as they were actually led, and the way the weeklies presented young lives.

*Not yet translated into the English. The title within parentheses is the Norwegian title's literal meaning.
