Señora Carrar's Rifles and Rapport fra Stordjupta* (Report from the Great Depths)
Señora Carrar's Rifles and Rapport fra Stordjupta* (Report from the Great Depths) (1974) was a theatre production in two parts by The Arctic Theatre. Señora Carrar's Rifles was based on the play by Bertolt Brecht, whereas the text for Rapport fra Stordjupta was written by Klaus Hagerup in collaboration with the actors, and also included a documentary movie with interviews with fishermen. The production was performed on tour, mostly in small villages along the coast of Northern Norway.
Pål Løkkeberg directed the production.
Inger-Lise Westby played the role of señora Carrar.
The idea behind putting the two one-act plays together was to show that the consequences of abuse are the same, despite distance in time and culture.
