The Nutcracker

The Nutcracker (1965) was a ballet production by The Norwegian National Opera, a fairytale ballet based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, with music by Peter Tchaikovsky. The production was performed in the facilities The Norwegian National Opera used at the time, in Folketeateret.

The choreography was created by Walter Gore.

The production also visited The National Stage in Bergen (December 1965), where it was performed seven times.
