The Rake’s Progress

The Rake’s Progress (1964) was an opera production by The Norwegian National Opera. The Rake’s Progress was the Norwegian premiere of an opera by Igor Stravinsky (music) and Chester Kallman and W. H. Auden (libretto), after the prints by William Hogarth, of the same title. The production was performed by The Norwegian National Opera in Folketeateret.

The director was Einar Beyron.

Ragnar Ulfung and Sven Olof Eliasson performed the role of Tom Rakewell.
