Otello

Otello (1997) was an opera production by The Norwegian National Opera, based on the opera by Giuseppe Verdi (music) and Arrigo Boito (libretto), after the play by William Shakespeare. The production was performed in Folketeaterbygningen.

Stein Winge directed it.

Frederic Kalt sang the title role.

Terje Stensvold sang the role of Iago.

Ragnhild Heiland Sørensen and Itziar Martinez Galdos sang the role of Desdemona.
