In Det spøker i Frydenlund* (Frydenlund is haunted) by Stigespillerne it turns out that the house is haunted by the ghosts Else and Marie. They died 150 years ago, when they were children, and they have been playing together ever since. With the old ghost Abelone, who suffers from rheumatism, they start fighting to keep Frydenlund intact. Pretty soon the humans discover that mysterious things are happening. Crowbars disappear and doors lock themselves. But B. Tong is not too easy to scare off. The swimming city messenger often slips by in his attempts to carry on an important message he is unable to remember. The whole thing reaches its climax when B. Tong has lightened the fuse to blow the house in the air and it turns out that Abelone is his great great great great great great great grandmother and that the house is for sale and that the swimming messenger all the time were supposed to bring 100 000 Norwegian kroner. But the fuse has to be extinguished, or else Frydenlund explodes, and if it disappears, Abelone will disappear too. And who really wants to blow his great great great great great great great grandmother in the air?
