Peer Gynt

Peer Gynt (1991) was a theatre production by The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, also known as Dramaten. It was based on the play by Henrik Ibsen.

Ingmar Bergman directed it.

Börje Ahlstedt interpreted the title role.

Bibi Andersson played the role of Aase, and Lena Endre played Solveig.

During Bergen International Festival 1994, the production was staged as a visiting performance at The National Stage's main stage, Store Scene. It was also performed as a visiting performance at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), New York, and in Düsseldorf, among other places.
