The Political Tinker

The Political Tinker (1919) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the comedy by Ludvig Holberg. The production was performed at the theatre's main stage.

Karl Bergmann directed it. He later directed the same play for the same theatre, in 1940.

William Ivarson played the role of the tinker, Herman von Bremen.

The performance January 2, 1920, marked the 70th anniversary since Ole Bull's theatre, Det Norske Theater, opened.

The Political Tinker was also performed May 17, 1920.

The Political Tinker was revived in 1922, at the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the play. At the time, six performances were given.
