Bedre enn sjokolade* (Better than Chocolate) by Kim Atle Hansen was about pheromones, secreted fragrance chemicals humans use for subconscious communication. It was particularly about the sexual pheromones and how to take advantage of these to break through education to get back to the animal human or the human animal. Civilization and morals were put as opposites against drives and instincts.

Bedre enn sjokolade was originally produced by The Norwegian Theatre during The Norwegian Drama Festival/The Contemporary Stage Festival in 2007. In 2010 it was staged by the writer with actor Karl Flyman at Dramatikkens hus.

Bedre enn sjokolade by Kim Atle Hansen was supported by Arts Council Norway and The Fund for Performing Artists.
