Jeg er en klovn* (I am a clown) - Medea - Daphnis and Chloë

Jeg er en klovn* (I am a clown) - Medea - Daphnis and Chloë (1972) was a ballet production by The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. The production was staged in the facilities the opera used at the time, in Folketeatret. It consisted of three ballets.

Jeg er en klovn was a world premiere. Walter Gore choreographed it, and the music was written by John Addison.

Hanne Skram danced the role of Poc-a-Poc, the main character of Jeg er en klovn, which was created for her. When Jeg er en klovn was taken off the schedule due to bad reviews, she resigned from her position at The Norwegian National Ballet in protest.

Medea was choreographed by Birgit Cullberg, and the music was written by Béla Bartók.

Anne Borg danced the title role of Medea.

Daphnis and Chloë was a Norwegian premiere. The choreography was by Georges Skibine with inspiration from the story by Longos, and the music was written by Maurice Ravel.

James De Bolt and Terje Solberg alternated in the role of Daphnis. Inger Johanne Rütter danced the role of Chloë.
