~~~O OUI~~~ by Par B.L.Eux / Benoit Lachambre (Canada). The past ten years Benoît Lachambre has produced a number of productions with the company Par B.L.Eux. The performance Forgeries, love and other matters (2004) was made in cooperation with the choreographer Meg Stuart and the composer Hahn Rowe. It achieved the prestigious Bessie Award in 2006. ~~~O OUI~~~ is a new collaboration between these three. It is an attempt to find a language beyond the words we know, an attempt to say, ”I love you” in different words.

Joining Lachambre on stage, in an intense discussion about movement and a moving performance of words, is dancer and actress Annik Hamal and film actress and theatre director Céline Bonnier. ~~~O oui~~~ is about the relationships between women, about love and hate, including elements of both projected and actual water. Or, in the words of Lachambre himself: "Language as we know it is undoubtedly connected and necessary to human creation throughout our history, as rife with war and conflict as that history is. We can use the same language to reveal its social, cultural and historical flaws, or to defy them and propose a more intuitive alternative".
