At the webpage of The Arctic Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Translations:

"The theatre had drummed together reviewers from all over the country for this great event. The headlines the next day were merciless. Here are some of the headlines: Stammens ståk (literally: The noise of the tribe)Stammens vræl (literally: The yell of the tribe)Dunder og brak (literally. Thunder and noise)Kunsten er kort (literally: Art is short) and Fyll ble fest (literally: Drunkenness turned party). Few positive signs could be traced in the reviews.

The local critics were a little bit more cautious in their vocabularies than the women and men from the capital, but most characterised the production either as lethally boring, or as an overacted amateurish popular comedy."
