A Delicate Balance

A Delicate Balance (1967) was a theatre production by The National Theatre, based on a play by Edward Albee. The production was performed at the theatre's main stage.

Arild Brinchmann directed it.

The production was the first to open in Arild Brinchmann's term as artistic director of The National Theatre, and the stage design was the first one Guy Krohg was responsible for in his time as steadily employed by the theatre.

A Delicate Balance was the Norwegian premiere of Albee's play. Edward Albee came from the USA to see the dress rehearsal.
