Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (1995) was a theatre production by The Arctic Theatre, based on the book by Roald Dahl, in a theatrical adaption by Jeremy Raison. The production was performed in Margarinfabrikken.

Mette Brantzeg directed it.

Kristian Fr. Figenschow jr. played the role of Charlie.

Knut Walle played the role of Willy Wonka.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was the opening performance in what was The Arctic Theatre's new venue at the time, Margarinfabrikkenby the square Strandtorget, and the leader of the board, Leif Arne Heløe, cut the ribbon the day of the premiere. The same day, the theatre announced that all 24 planned performances had been sold out. 14 additional performances were scheduled.
