Peer Gynt

Peer Gynt (1993/1994) was a monologue theatre production byThe Arctic Theatre, based on the play by Henrik Ibsen.

Mette Brantzeg directed it.

Knut Walle performed the monologue.

The project started as a process with an open workshop, with access for audiences, with lectures and discussions. Åse Hiorth Lervik and Even Arntzen from The University of Tromsø contributed to this. Peer Gynt was developed and performed during Arctic Arts Festival June 21 1994, when Knut Walle was the festival's artist in residence.
