In the spring program of BIT Teatergarasjen 2000 the following is written about Art Goes Kapakka:

"This mini music festival is a project initiated by musicians within Helsinki, European Capital of Culture. This festival is part of Helsinki 2000's contribution within the cultural capitals' aim of cultural exchange. The cream of Finnish music exclusively visits Bergen during this year of culture. BIT Teatergarasjen coordinates the event.

During the second weekend of April the Bergen audience is served musical titbits from two stages, and if possible, there will also be some outdoors stunt concerts. At the venue Kulturhuset USF a little variety of Finnish musicians will present a wide musical spectrum within the genre of jazz. The repertoire touches funk and electronic jazz, among other things.

The next day Miles Ahead opens the doors for an expression closer to today's club culture, music with jazz and technology as its inspirations, in which the force and the edge point towards tomorrow. The club context of Miles Ahead will open to DJs generating moods and rhythms close to the ambient, emphasising the music and its embracing character."
