In the spring program of BIT Teatergarasjen 2000 the following is written about House/Lights by The Wooster Group:

"The Wooster Group's productions are complex and technically brilliant, with performative elements found in the contemporary as well as in tradition. House/Lights is a production about the German myth of Faust in the words of Gertrude Stein (Dr. Faustus Lights the Lights) and the stage expression of The Wooster Group.

Director Elizabeth LeCompte has composed a polyphonic expression in a stage installation consisting of instrumental technological elements (video, computers, cameras and sound manipulation), acting and choreography. Monitors show excerpts from the 1960es' movie Olga's House of Shame by Joseph Mawra, manifested in the theatrical totality of actors and imitating/reflective choreography. Stein chose to classify her text as an opera, and the libretto is claimed to express doubt connected to the technological progress of industrial America. (...)

The Wooster Group is presented in collaboration with Bergen International Festival and is part of the series The World in Bergen, supported by and in collaboration with Bergen 2000, European capital of culture. The performances are presented with support from Arts Council Norway's system for visiting performances."
