La Carta
La Carta (1999) is a production by tg STAN. It first opened in a Dutch-language version in 1999, then in an English-language version in 2001.

I the spring program of BIT Teatergarasjen 2001 the following is written about the production La Carta (1999) by tg STAN:
"La Carta is based on Javier Tomeo's novel The Coded Letter (original title: El Castillo de la Carta Cifrada) from 1978, letting us meet the marquis who after twenty years of isolation and loneliness i his castle finally decides to reestablish contact with the world outside the walls of the castle. He writes a personal letter to the count on the other side of the valley, a letter the servant Bautista has to deliver in person.
Is the duke still alive? Will the letter be misunderstood? Send it again, then, using a code. Communication arises when one least expects it."
