Before Your Very Eyes
Before Your Very Eyes is a production by Gob Squad and Campo.
Onstage there are seven children in different ages, inside of a room with a one-way mirror, so that the audience can see in, but the children can't see out. The children play themselves as they age, change behaviour and eventually die.

Stamsund International Theatre Festival describes Before Your Very Eyes by Gob Squad and Campo in the following manner:
"For the first time in its 17 year old history Gob Squad is not personally onstage, but instead instructs a group of 8 to 14 year olds.
While the audience observes the children in a room made by one-way mirrors - like insects in a marmalade glass can the children look into the future - seeing themselves as adults - throwing a nostalgic glance back to their near past. And while we try to stop the process of aging and maintain youth for as long as possible, the children prepare to leave childhood forever.
Through a complex mix of live performance and edited material Gob Squad turns the idea of the wisdom of aging and the innocence of youth upside-down."
