The Lying-In Room

The Lying-In Room was a theatre production staged by The National Theatre in 1899, based on the play by Ludvig Holberg.

Olaf Mørch Hansson directed it.

As part of a Holberg program with Gert the Westphaler, The Lying-In Room was one of The National Theatre's three opening performances, and the one that was performed the very first night the theatre was open, September 1 1899. Only the second and third acts were performed.
