The Four Temperaments – One in Five – Miss Julie

The Four Temperaments – One in Five – Miss Julie (1969) was a ballet production by The Norwegian National Opera. The production was performed on The Norwegian National Opera’s main stage in Folketeateret, and comprised 3 ballets:

The Four Temperaments, choreography by George Balanchine, music by Paul Hindemith.

One in Five (Norwegian premiere), choreographed by Ray Powell to music by Johann Strauss II  and Josef Strauss.

Miss Julie, choreography by Birgit Cullberg after a drama by August Strindberg, music by Ture Rangström.

One in Five and Miss Julie were performed together with Napoli, act III in Drammen in 1970.
