On the webpage of the student association Det Norske Studentersamfund the following was said about Tramteatrets siste sang* (Tramteatret's Last Song):

"NRK Radiodokumentaren (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation’s Radio Documentary) invites to a full-night party event with a preliminary broadcast of the documentary Tramteatrets siste sang, and live performance of songs from Tramteatret’s decade long career with Bøljebandet/Tramteatret onstage. Besides, for the first and last time, there will be a live performance of Tramteatret’s brand new song Så lenge verden består (literally: As long as the world remains) – about what happened with Leon Latex, Audun Automat, Frida Frosk, Ragna Rekkverk, Sandra Salamander and the other characters.

Tramteatret existed for ten years (1976-86), and produced ten records, six full-length musical revues, four TV series, 20 radio shows, plus a huge amount of TV slots for Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The members were friends and colleagues in a creative collective with a clear political agenda, and the accord that they would "always take the side of the weak and the suppressed, and reach all of Norway’s population" drove them forward.

In the main hall in Chateau Neuf, the playpen of Tramteatret, they are again gathered to bring some of the zeitgeist back. Meet the actors who may have changed Norway a bit – and the people who produce world class radio documentaries.

Host is Anne Lindmo."

Saturday March 5 2010 the radio documentary Tramteatrets siste sang was broadcast by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation’s radio channel P2.
