Skeleton Woman
Skeleton Woman (2020) is a performing arts production by Signe Becker and Ingvild Langgård. Skeleton Woman was premiered on the opening day of Black Box Teater, autumn 2020.
Skeleton Woman forms part of Becker’s doctoral research at Oslo National Academy of the Arts.

The artists’ description of the production:
"Skeleton Woman is a site-specific stunt that mixes choral, performance and sculptural elements with aspects of ritual and mystery. Eight performers create eight variations of Skeleton woman. We call on an elemental power that collapses and is reborn again and again, and gives life to another possible feminism that may appear frightening, powerful and raw.
Signe Becker is a freelance scenographer and artist. Skeleton Woman forms part of Becker’s doctoral research at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Ingvild Langgård is a composer, musician and sound artist. Langgård composes and performs sound and music for the stage, ensembles and films as well as in live performance and sound installations. She has released two albums under the name Phaedra.
