In Da surefisen slukte latteren* (When the Sour Fart swallowed laughter) by Theatre Spillebrikkene, happiness doesn’t last long before Caroletta is eaten whole by the smelly sour fart Surefisen, who hates laughter. Kjedil realises that he is the only one who can save the princess and the country of Isatnaf in this Theatre Spillebrikkene production. Aided by the children he has to win over Surefisen in Da surefisen slukte latteren.

The assignment is making Surefisen laugh, because if he does, he will explode. Kjedil meets many on his way to Surefisen, but not all are as helpful.
