Digital version
Born to live. Digital version (2020) was a digital dance production by Panta Rei Dance Theatre. The digital production was a recording of the performing arts production Born to Live from 2019. The stage version was supposed to be performed during the festival Heddadagene 2020, but the festival was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. As a replacement, the dance production was made available in digital version through Teater Innlandet's webpage and Facebook page.
The production was choreographed by Anne Ekenes and Pia Holden.

"Loneliness can catch up with most people, and there may be even more feeling it now that isolation and social distancing have become part of our daily lives. In this digital version of the dance production Born to Live, Panta Rei Dance Theatre and Teater Innlandet aim to remind us all that we are not alone, and that everything will be better.
Four fabulous dancers share their stories, in this intimate, but also playful performance about being lonely.
Everybody has a story to tell. It is important to remember that.
Loneliness among young people is more common than one may think. Young people feel loneliness more frequently and more intensely than any other age group, recent research shows.
We pay attention to lonely elders, but do we do enough to understand young people who isolate when their feelings become hard to handle? Do we listen to young people's stories?
When we really need to be heard, it is important to be taken seriously."
