Søstrene Andrews

Søstrene Andrews is the name of the theatre company established by Maria Dommersnes Ramvi and Hildur Kristinnsdottir during their education at Norwegian Theatre Academy in Fredrikstad (University College of Østfold). The company found the name in its graduation work, the performance Søstrene Andrews: Faen, verden brenner* (Andrews Sisters present: Fuck, the world is burning!) which the duo did with actress Nina Eileen Sponnich, educated at GITIS in Aarhus.

Søstrene Andrews: Faen, verden brenner* (Andrews Sisters present: Fuck, the world is burning!) deals with the story of the American group The Andrews Sisters, consisting of the sisters LaVerne Andrews (1911- 967), Maxene Anglyn Andrews (1916 - 1995) and Patty (Patti) Andrews (1918). Prior to The Beatles these three ladies made up the most-selling band of the world. After graduating Ramvi and Kristinnsdottir continued their collaboration in the company Søstrene Andrews.
