Gard B. Eidsvold
Also known as: Gard Bjørnstjerne EidsvoldGard B. Eidsvold (born 1966) is a Norwegian actor, director, stage designer and playwright.
In 1995 Gard B. Eidsvold initiated establishing Oslo Moderne Teater (Oslo Modern Theatre), meant to be an alternative to the institutions. Despite the objective, its first major success with Hunger was a collaboration project with The National Theatre. Hunger won The Hedda Award in 1998.
Eidsvold has worked for The Norwegian Theatre, Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), Agder Theatre, The Norwegian Touring Theatre and Juni Dahr's Visjoner Teater.
Gard B. Eidsvold is for the time being an employee of The National Theatre and a member of the independent theatre company StatsTeatret.
