Christine Kjellberg

Christine Kjellberg (b. 1975) is from Hosle in Bærum, Norway. She was educated as a dancer at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (formerly The National Academy of Ballet) and at P.A.R.T.S in Brussels under the director Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. Christine Kjellberg was employed as a dancer in Carte Blanche in December 2009.

After working voluntarily as a dance teacher in Honduras, Central America in 2002 and after studying psychology, Christine Kjellberg worked as a freelance dancer from 2003.

Christine Kjellberg danced for companies such as Deja Donne led by Simone Sandroni/ Lenka Flory, Impure Company led by Hooman Sharifi and Wee Company led by Francesco Scavetta among others. She has participated in productions by Brynjar Bandlien, Henriette Pedersen, Ingunn Tharebø Myhre, Moving Art, Stellaris danseteater and Mia Habib.
