About Silje Lundblad

Silje Lundblad (born 1981) is a Norwegian actress, educated at The National Academy of Theatre (2004-2007).

She made her debut at Trøndelag Theatre, where she performed several roles in the contemporary musical Ingen nordmenn savnet* (No Norwegians Missing) in 2007. Later she has interpreted central musical theatre roles include Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Roxy Hart in Chicago, Wendla in Spring Awakening and Josefine in Boer Boerson Jr. and Maria in The Sound of Music.

Between her musical roles Silje Lundblad has acted in roles including the title role in Antigone, Lizzi in Pastures Green and Nille in Jeppe of the Hill.
