Pia Holden
Pia Holden is a Norwegian dancer and choreographer. Pia Holden is the daily manager of the dance company Panta Rei Dance Theatre and works as a freelance dance artist based in Oslo. Formerly Pia Holden has worked with choreographers including Lise Nordal, Lise Eger and Jo Strømgren.
Pia Holden was educated at Balettakademien in Gothenburg, 1989-92 and Joffrey Ballet School in New York, 1992-94. She also has taken a number of classes in release techniques, improvisation, contact improvisation, capoeira and tissue (the latter is a circus technique using fabrics).

Pia Holden has danced with New York Dance Ensemble, and from 1995 she worked as a freelance dancer in Oslo, with Jo Strømgren, Lise Eger, Lise Nordal, Vivild Bergersen and Panta Rei Dance Theatre, among others. 2002-2003 she worked with different choreographers in Brazil. She has also worked as a project coordinator in Brazil for The Norwegian Solidarity Committee for Latin America, and has held elected positions in The Union of Norwegian Dance Artists (NoDa).
From the spring of 2005 Pia Holden has worked with Panta Rei Dance Theatre as a dancer, pedagogue and choreographers. From the start of the project Frie Fraspark in Akershus she has taken part, and for the time being she is the daily manager of Panta Rei Dance Theatre.
