Tatjana Zaitzow is a Norwegian actress, puppet maker and puppetry creator. Zaitzow is most known as the leader of the puppetry company Petrusjka Teater in Trondheim, a group she established in 1978.

More about Tatjana Zaitzow

Tatjana Zaitzow is educated as an architect, graduating in Trondheim in 1966. Since 1978 she has been artistic director for Petrusjka Teater full-time, responsible for the large majority of the theatre’s dramatic productions. She also is responsible for stage design, puppetry making, acting and puppeteering and producing.

Tatjana Zaitzow received the culture prize of the municipality of Trondheim in 1989, the culture prize of Sør-Trøndelag County in 1990. She has been awarded other Norwegian and international awards for her puppetry work, among them the Norwegian Tyrihansprisen by UNIMA Norway.
